4th grade is going to be a great year. Our rhythm will be shifting a bit this year because, for the first time, the girls have a lot more independent work.

I am SO excited to teach Kindergarten. We’ve got some great curriculum lined up this year and I can’t wait to dive in!

I have a bunch of things on hand for pre-school because at this age children are so eager to learn. We love to rotate between a few different resources so here are some of my favorites I am pulling from for 2022-2023.

A few simple tips on planning out a homeschool year.

We loved our Zoology unit from Elemental Science. At first, I was hesitant to study animals for an extensive amount of time, but my twin girls and pre-schooler soaked it up and I am surprised by how much fun we had.

Since our time with My Tech High we’ve been given about $6000 in reimbursement funds for educational materials. In this post I am breaking down some of our favorite things and also organizing them by items that can double up as holiday or birthday gifts.

I wasn’t quite sure the direction I wanted to head this year for Christmas School, but once I sat down and started to look at what we had, it all came together so nicely and we’re really excited for the next few weeks! We will be taking a break from all our other subjects and units and just focusing on all of these areas.

A Christ-centered timeline of history has been something I have wanted to do for so long! It took me a long time to get a foundation/process for the timeline and I as I gathered my thoughts and what I wanted the timeline to reflect in our home, I tried to make sure that it could be duplicatable for others.

Morning routines are going to widely vary in every family, but I can’t help but feel morning time is probably one of the most important parts of our days. It is about beginning your day with Him.

The My Tech High program has been such a blessing to us during our homeschool experience. We’ve been apart of this Utah based resource for almost two years now. By the time this year is over we will have received $6800 in reimbursements and I have almost all good things to say about it.
